Patrickson founded Less Fortunate Charity with a vision to serve Chicago's South Side through compassionate, community-driven programs. He leads organizational strategy, community partnerships, and day-to-day operations from the organization's home at 2132 E 72nd St.
Oversees the delivery of all five active programs, ensuring every service meets our standards of care and achieves measurable impact for participants. Coordinates between staff, volunteers, and community partners.
Builds and maintains relationships with neighborhood residents, faith communities, and partner organizations to connect those in need with our services. Leads seasonal drives and community events throughout the year.
Manages the tutoring program, mentorship matching, and scholarship awards. Works directly with students and families to expand access to educational opportunity and support academic achievement from Kโ12 through college enrollment.
Leads the job readiness curriculum and manages employer relationships. Coaches participants through every step of the job search โ from resume writing to the first day on the job. Proud of our 82% employment placement rate.
Recruits, trains, and supports our volunteer network. Ensures every volunteer has a meaningful and rewarding experience, and that our programs are always staffed with the caring, skilled people our community deserves.
